The Vendor Associate Director is accountable for the end to end management of a vendor relationship that is contracted to hire, train, and serve our Customers with their Customer Service needs and deliver high quality in line with UHC Stars measures.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage end to end call center operations and relationship with given supplier(s)
Manage and develop relationship directly with C-Level executives at given supplier(s)
Must be capable and comfortable to lead performance through influence and consultation
Lead supplier to deliver high quality performance in line with UHC STARS measures
Create and deliver professional executive level presentations outlining vendor performance including remediation plans when necessary
Participate and lead annual SOW negotiations with respective suppliers to ensure UHC goals and objectives are met
Understand and manage the monthly invoices and financial commitments with the suppliers to ensure invoices are audited, reconciled, and paid on time
Lead the supplier in remediation efforts and the development of strong performance remediation plans
Lead, develop, and host regular performance reviews on a quarterly, monthly, and as needed basis

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Must have BA/BS degree from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience
3 years of Healthcare Experience Preferred (preferably in the payer space)
Experience managing monthly financials
Experience creating and delivering executive level presentations
Experienced in managing call center performance and building performance remediation plans focused on resolving the root cause issues
Experience negotiating contract terms and working through financial considerations/disputes with outside suppliers
Ability to travel to supplier locations as needed up to 30% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

10 years business experience
7 years call center management experience
5 years of vendor management experience
3 years of Project Management Experience
Experience with offshore and / or near shore
