Maya Lundhagen

VP, Customer Operations & Experience

Maya heads the Operations team, which efficiently brings classroom ideas to life through a successful and trusted end-to-end experience for teachers and donors. The team includes Customer Experience, Customer Support, Trust & Safety, and Volunteer Operations. 

Before joining, Maya co-founded 100Kin10, a STEM teacher-focused non-profit applauded by Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. She has extensive K-12 education reform experience at institutions including Carnegie Corporation of New York/Institute for Advanced Study and the NYC Department of Education, and she served in the Peace Corps in Honduras as a water/sanitation engineer. She lives with her husband and two small boys in Brooklyn.

Why Maya?
Maya excels at building and guiding strong teams toward organizational objectives; forging and strengthening complex, meaningful, cross-sector partnerships; building operational processes and protocols; and designing, managing, and evaluating programs. She possesses precise and engaging communication and facilitation skills, and is trained in systems and design thinking. Her session at CCW Austin will touch upon the need to make your own rules and think outside the box for an effortless customer experience.
