Alp has 20+ years of senior roles in China and APAC: 10 years as GM & MD in a manufacturing business in Beijing and for 8 years as MD in consulting & corporate services for SMEs gaining access to and establishing operations in China and broader Asian markets, based in Shanghai. Since late 2015 as Senior Executive in financial services he has helped to transform traditional brick and mortar operations across SE Asia into fully digital businesses, including rebranding and integration into affinity ecosystems. Alp excels at bringing many different strands together into a coherent whole and has a proven track record in devising top-level strategy, leading planning and executing operations with top- and bottom-line success, often in turnaround situations. A passionate and energetic leader and mentor, upon exiting his businesses he then embarked on large scale transformations at larger organizations. Alp grew up in Hamburg, Germany and has been based in Asia since 1997. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences Wilhelmshaven, Germany, with majors in Organization, HR Management and Marketing. He is a Member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.
