Urmas Karner, General Manager, The Somerset on Grace Bay, is responsible for all aspects of operations and financial performance at one of the world’s leading 5 Star Resorts (Travel + Leisure and U.S. News & World Report listed for 2013 - 14).  Urmas increased year over year occupancy and revenue, with significant EBITDA improvement.  Along with the marketing team, Urmas conceived and executed successful Integrated Customer Relationship Marketing (ICRM) program including website overhaul / launch (winning HSMAI’s Adrian Award Bronze Medal for Best Website.) He has a staff building and motivation focus, emphasizing guest loyalty- driven service goals.
