Senior Vice President of Contact Centres Wells Fargo

Germaine Chee is senior vice present and head of Business Strategy, Initiatives & Technology for the Investment Contact Center (ICC) in Wealth and Investment Management. She is based in San Francisco. In this role, Germaine is responsible for strategy, initiatives management, and technology solutions for the ICC.

Germaine joined the ICC from Wells Fargo Virtual Channels (WFVC) where she led Business, Operations & Technology Management since 2015.

Prior to that she was the head of Strategic Planning and Program Management Office for the consumer contact centers, a cross-disciplinary team of approximately 120 team members in multiple locations.In both roles, the team developed and executed operational strategy for the contact center, which includes business process, banker and customer experience, and technology planning and management; driving improvements in contact center performance.

Throughout the years, Germaine has led a significant number of major strategic initiatives and programs, including the successful integration of more than six contact centers into one after Wells Fargo acquired Wachovia in 2008. She also served as channel lead on numerous enterprise contact center initiatives including Efficiency & Effectiveness 2020, One Wells Fargo Customer Experience, Operations Excellence, and Omni-Authentication. Germaine joined Wells Fargo in 2001.

Prior to Wells Fargo, she was a management consultant in the financial services industry. Germaine has an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She and her husband live in the Bay Area in California with their three children.
