Alvin Nand

Alvin is a senior level strategic advisor and business leader with 16 years' cross industry experience (majority within banking, general insurance and life insurance). He has led the design and execution of several corporate strategy projects covering organic and acquisition-led growth, divestments, separation and integration. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer for QBE, Asia accountable for the digital, data and analytics and transformation teams across Asia, in addition to managing insurance operations. His focus is on enabling innovative digital business models that drive growth, running the digital and innovation labs and enhancing customer and partner experience. He has also headed up multiple projects in the banking industry previously focusing on product development and customer centricity, as well as payments innovation, real time banking and digital banking. His experience includes working for top tier consulting companies like Accenture and IBM and management roles at Singtel.
