VP of Sales Laivly

Dave Sheridan is the VP of Sales at Laivly. His team is responsible for the growth and development of their customer base. For over 20 years, Dave has spent most of his career in Information Technology. Beginning with a sales career in IBM, he was exposed to many areas of the company, selling hardware, software and services to enterprise clients. Taking on several leadership roles and helping to grow the software partner channel, he was ready for new challenges. Deciding to focus on a niche market and continuing to understand software development, Dave joined Locus Systems, a leader in application development and services around the OpenText suite of Enterprise Content Management. Helping to grow this business as Executive Director, David took his experience in management, software and selling and joined Toronto’s fast growing Intelex Technologies, a quadrant leader in Environmental, Health and Safety software applications as Vice President of Enterprise Sales. Having secured capital and transitioned the company into a pure SaaS model, David moved on to Business Process Analytics leader, Vena Solutions as Vice President of Enterprise Sales for North America. Dave’s path continued with SaaS vendors and was recruited to become the Director of Enterprise Business for Box Canada, overseeing the growth and expansion of cloud content management and collaboration. After building and running the national sales team, Dave was retained by Toronto startup FutureVault. His mandate was to oversee the Sales and Customer Success teams that were seeing positive traction and growth with financial customers looking for a feature-rich, SOC-compliant platform to securely collaborate with trusted contacts. Dave resides in Toronto with his wife and two children.
