Update: May 14, 2020

The health and safety of our attendees and employees remains our singular priority as we execute our plan to return to the business of live events, and prepare to welcome you to CCW Las Vegas later this summer. We are currently developing an industry-leading standard of hygiene and program modifications designed to exceed Covid-19 mitigation guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and the State of Nevada.

This first edition of our operating framework is a reflection of our rigorous commitment to delivering a world-class live event experience in these extraordinary times. This plan will continue to be revised with guidance from state and federal health officials, and our local partner, Caesars Entertainment Corporation, to ensure the health and safety of our attendees from badge pickup to departure.

CCW Las Vegas Enhanced Hygiene Standards & Program Modifications:

  • We've added 200,000 square feet of venue space, more than doubling the size of the original event floor plan to facilitate social distancing across the entire program
  • In cooperation with local partners, Caesars Entertainment and The Linq Las Vegas, there will be increased frequency and intensity of hotel, meeting space, and common area cleaning
  • Re-engineered registration check-in process from the ground up to be contact-free
  • Non-contact temperature scanning will be required upon entry for every attendee
  • All attendees will receive complimentary health kits at check-in, featuring a touch tool, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and face covering
  • Hand-washing and sanitizer stations added around every corner - 49 to be exact - to ensure round-the-clock access to hospital-grade sanitizer
  • All shared equipment, including microphones, slide clickers, podiums, and presenter tables will be sanitized with hospital-grade cleaner after each use
  • Signage displaying the appropriate distance will be installed throughout our venues, including the expo hall, site tour facilities, and at networking events
  • Redesigned session room layouts to ensure a distance of 6 feet between attendees
  • Food and beverage service will be delivered in accordance with the strictest interpretation of Clark County, Nevada Health Department regulations and COVID-19 risk mitigation guidelines

We will be releasing more information on the additional health and safety measures we will be taking next week. Please reach out to us at info@customermanagementpractice.com with any questions you may have at this time.

Update: March 27, 2020

After careful consideration, we are postponing Customer Contact Week. The health, safety and well-being of our attendees, partners and employees is paramount, and this is the only action that is within our power in order to make sure you remain healthy and safe during these uncertain times. Rescheduling this event will allow us to deliver the Customer Contact Week experience that you are accustomed to, in a safe environment.

We recognize that you likely have several questions, the first being, “When are the new dates?” We are very excited to announce that we have already secured new dates for August 24-28 at Caesars Forum (date changed, venue remains the same).

If you have any questions, please see our FAQ page, and feel free to reach out to myself or your relationship manager personally. We wish you continued good health and look forward to seeing you in August.

Update: March 3, 2020

CCW Las Vegas is going ahead as scheduled.

In light of the recent developments surrounding COVID-19, I wanted to provide you with some information leading up to CCW Vegas, taking place this June.

Firstly, I want to stress that the show will go on! We are continuously monitoring what the CDC, WHO, and US Government have recommended and follow their advice. I want to assure you that our attendees’ health and well-being are our #1 priority and we do not take the current situation lightly. Therefore there are several precautions and measures that we are and will undertake in the weeks leading up to the event and on site in Las Vegas.

Before I dive into those, a few facts to note:

  1. I am pleased to report that this year’s conference is tracking significantly ahead, meaning our year on year growth trend will continue
  2. As in past years, our attendees are overwhelmingly from North America – including all speakers, attendees and sponsors. Our current attendee list is over 90% based in North America
  3. No attendees currently attending are from China, S. Korea, Italy, or Iran
  4. Continued registrations and sponsorship in the past several weeks despite current news reports on the virus

All of this is excellent news and speaks to the strength of the CCW Vegas program, but despite this optimism, we know that we must be vigilant to ensure that our venue and attendees follow basic good-health protocols including no hand-shaking, washing hands regularly, and stressing that if anyone feels unwell, to please not attend, and if they are already in Las Vegas for the event when this occurs, to see a healthcare professional immediately.

Additionally, please note the following precautionary and preventative measures are being taken to ensure the event environment is as healthy and safe as possible:

  • Hand Sanitizer will be available throughout the expo hall and session rooms
  • Signage displaying best health and hygiene practices will be placed throughout the event
  • Venue staff will be sanitizing common areas frequently throughout the entirety of the event
  • Providing additional sanitizing wipes to exhibitors to clean their booth areas each night
  • Monitoring any new potential attendees for their location and adhering to Department of State travel restrictions
  • All attendees receive guidance consistently on sensible health practices for their reference

We are looking forward to seeing you in Las Vegas this June. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly.
