Wilfred Busby is Senior Vice President of Enterprise Contact Center and Donor Account Processing for ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. More than 50 years ago, entertainer Danny Thomas had a vision that “no child should die in the dawn of life” and built St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. Today, St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. This year it will cost nearly $1 billion to run St. Jude and the hospital relies on generous supporters to cover the majority of those funds.  

Wilfred is responsible for providing the leadership and executing the strategy for ALSAC’s external and internal contact centers, which engage with millions of St. Jude donors and volunteer fundraisers around the country. Wilfred has completely transformed ALSAC’s call center operations, creating an Enterprise Contact Center, a donor-centric culture and employee-centered environment, where employees feel valued, respected and trust their leadership team. As a member of ALSAC’s Senior Leadership team, he provides strategies to help achieve the organization’s fundraising and awareness goals, ensuring that no family will ever receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or meals, so all they have to worry about is helping their child live.
