Joachim Rogers

Senior Director Customer Care Coca-Cola Consolidated, Inc.


Joachim (Joe) Rogers is in his seventh year at Coca-Cola Consolidated Inc, the nation's largest Coca-Cola bottler. Consolidated operates in 16 states primarily in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast with corporate offices located in Charlotte, NC. Joe currently heads Coca-Cola’s Inside Sales and Service team. In this role he serves as Site Manager for their 72,000 square foot facility with reporting responsibility of almost 300 employees.  His team handles business to business sales and reactive service calls to over 77,000 CCBCC customers representing $650 million in annual revenue.

Prior to Coke Joe served as a Director in Individual Client Services at TIAA, a Fortune 100 financial services company. He was with TIAA for over 18 years, having worked in the New York, Denver, and Charlotte offices.  His area provided investment guidance and customer service to customers worldwide and his team was responsible for bringing in over $900 Million in annual growth revenue to the company.  Joe served in numerous roles at TIAA including Southeast Regional Sales Manager.  His team managed all technical sales related to Tax Sheltered Annuities for 9 states.

Joe is serving in his 4th term as a board member of the Housing Opportunity Foundation, the charitable arm of the Realtor’s Association. He is the former Board Chair of the Girl Talk Foundation, Inc., has served as the chair of the BPN under the Diversity Business Council at the Charlotte Chamber and on the board of the Possibility Project, a non-profit organization targeting at-risk teens.  In 2016 he and his wife launched the Amani Marie Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on economic mobility in the Charlotte community.  He has a passion for developing others and has been focused on this through each of his affiliations for over 20 years., He recently elevated his effort  when he created The Amani Group, a leadership development company. 

Joe is a lifetime member of the National Black MBA Association, Inc. (NBMBAA) and is celebrating his 20th year of membership.  Joe has been President of two chapters, serving first in Denver and then again in Charlotte.  In addition to his local involvement he was the Vice Chair of the National President and CEO Advisory Board and served as the NBMBAA South Region Chair covering chapters in 6 states.

Joe is also an active life member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc, a member based organization comprised of over 22,000 college educated men. He was initiated as an undergraduate at Syracuse University 27 years ago and has served in numerous roles on the Chapter, District, and International levels. He most recently served as the Basileus (President) of the graduate chapter in Charlotte, which is the second largest chapter in the organization with over 300 financial members.  He also serves as the International Reclamation and Retention Chair and as the Sixth District (NC and SC) Artifacts Chair.  Previously he was on the fraternity’s International Scholarship Commission and was the Treasurer of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Federal Credit Union.

Joe was born and raised in New York City. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University and an MBA from The University of Colorado at Denver. Joe has three sons and one daughter, Sterling (25), Alyssa (21) Xavier (15), and Chase (6). He and wife Tanya reside in Charlotte, NC where he has lived for the past 18 years.
