GLOSSARY: Look Ahead Routing

Look Ahead Routing/Queuing is defined as the capability of a system to "look ahead" to evaluate the availability/condition of a trunk group or agent group before routing or overflowing a contact there. It is the ability for a system or network to examine a secondary queue and evaluate the conditions, before overflowing calls from the primary queue.
