GLOSSARY: Right-Channeling

Routing customers to the channel likely to provide the best possible engagement and/or resolution.  This may conflict with the customer’s specific channel preference, so it is the business’ job to ensure that the experiential benefits gained by virtue of engaging in the “right channel” are more valuable than the perception benefits of engaging the customer in the channel he initially selected.
