How To Make A Lasting Impact On Giving Tuesday
Following the hustle and bustle of the holiday season’s biggest sale days is an opportunity to give more than just gifts. “The Tuesday after Thanksgiving, which started as a hashtag in 2012 and has grown into one of the biggest fundraising dates on the calendar,” explains the Associated Press.
“Ultimately, many donors are motivated to give by deep personal connections to causes or issues or because someone they know asks them.” Over the past few years donations on the day have been in steady decline, but there are ways to extend such philanthropic efforts throughout the calendar year. Read up on how Americans are making giving a long-term goal.

Ah, to be young… and influential. Forbes has released its highly-anticipated 30 Under 30 list, highlighting trailblazers and innovators in industries ranging from arts and culture to gaming. Not sure where to start in your name-scanning? Might I suggest the consumer technology section.
Articles By Fake Authors Are Making The Rounds... Again
Earlier this year an Atlantic report revealing how thousands of previously published works were fueling new content generated by AI highlighted some of the issues that exist surrounding data sourcing and advanced technology.
It’s one thing to rip off existing work, but it’s a whole nother thing to generate new, fake work all together. Now Futurism is putting Sports Illustrated in the hot seat, claiming that the publication has been circulating not-so-great pieces on its website written by AI-generated journalists, sans disclaimer.
“Needless to say, neither fake authors who are suddenly replaced with different names nor deplorable-quality AI-generated content with no disclosure amount to anything resembling good journalism, and to see it published by a once-iconic magazine like Sports Illustrated is disheartening,” the feature reads. “Bylines exist for a reason: they give credit where it's due, and just as importantly, they let readers hold writers accountable.”
Do I think AI will be replacing my job anytime soon, no? Do I think more people are getting hip to the content churn-out trend? Definitely.
