A recent survey of field service organizations revealed a pervasive attitude that remote diagnostics are the quickly approaching future. With more remote monitoring options available, more companies are able to decrease internal costs, raise profit margins and increase customer satisfaction with remote monitoring. CMIQ breaks down the results in a two-part podcast with Bill Pollock, president of Strategies for Growth, a services consulting firm.

Strategies for Growth is the official research analyst firm of The Service Council, a featured company at the upcoming 8th Annual Remote Device Monitoring Summit in July. John Carroll, president and founder of the The Service Council will be giving a presentation at the event titled, "The Remote Services Evoltuion: Lessons Learned and the Future." The presentation will be based largely on research currently being conducted by Strategies for Growth.

Pollock spoke with CMIQ to break down the results of the research thus far. In Part I, he discusses some of the general trends in the remote monitoring field and the pervasiveness of remote diagnostics. In Part II, he delves into some of the specifics of how remote monitoring has affected small vs. large companies, revenue stream and custome satisfaction.
