Giving, Learning, and a Little Competition

It’s What This Season (and Talkdesk) is All About

Talkdesk

2022 has been filled with discussions of how we can use smart technology to improve the contact center. Whether it’s to reduce wait times on the phone, improve automated responses in online chats, or to give agents an inside view of their customers’ histories, there are a multitude of ways this technology could help. But how do we decide which solutions are the best? And how do we know they will integrate with our other systems, be easy to understand for our agents, and support our long-term goals?

Talkdesk’s Digital Showdown is designed to help the audience answer these questions—while simultaneously supporting some of the world’s most renowned charities.

This event will feature six companies divided into two categories (three per category), each of which will be asked to give a three-minute demonstration of their applications. PowerPoint slides are strictly forbidden—the audience wants to see what the product does and how it does it. Two finalists will be chosen to compete in a 30 second “pitch for your life” before the audience votes on the winner live. Though every competitor will have $1000 donated to the charity of their choice, the second-place winner’s total goes up to $5000 and the top contender's up to $10,000.

So who are the companies and what do they support? Let’s take a look.

Category One: Improving agent & customer interactions:

Category Two: Driving agent & customer insights:

Cohosting this exhilarating event will be Amanda Nelson, Senior Director of AppExchange Communications & Community at Salesforce. Nelson joined the event last May and leveraged her background driving the wildly popular AppExchange Demo Jam series to spectacularly illuminate the contenders’ groundbreaking technology under the pressure of a buzzer. Though she is not competing in the showdown, Nelson will be supporting No Kid Hungry, a charity dedicated to alleviating childhood hunger in the United States.

Though you can watch the event after it’s over, only live participants get to vote. Register and tune in Wednesday, December 7th at 12pm EST. Questions about Talkdesk or looking to get involved next season? Reach out to the team at Talkdesk Support
