Thankful

On the day before many of you gather with friends, family and loved ones to reflect on all the good that has transpired over the past year and to share our hopes for the future, our team here at Customer Management Practice wishes to do the same for you. Whether you’ve attended one of our in-person events for the first time this year, tested your skills with CMP Research, are a seasoned speaker with us, have worked with us on CCW Digital special reports or been interviewees for a CCWomen podcast, each interaction leaves a lasting impact on our team.

Not only does your involvement bolster our efforts to bring the customer contact industry together, but it also leads to meaningful relationships that we forge between departments and across our offices at CMP. We grow as people, as professionals and as friends as we craft these experiences for all of you.

This year, I’m most grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to further develop relationships that I established for the first time years ago. Just-to-say-hi email threads with attendees, inside jokes with coworkers, and regular interactions with speakers who have become more than just a friendly face on-site means so much to me. In fact, it’s been a highlight of my 2023.

Below, I’ll share highlights from my team members as, together, we celebrate this community we’re building together:

“There’s something special about working with our attendees! I get to know them on a call and learn about their past experiences, passion projects, accomplishments, moments of pride and future goals.

They’re meaningful conversations, not only transactional, and that’s what makes it human. So the best moment comes when we’re at the event, it’s Day 1 at check-in, and we recognize each other.

We shake hands (or elbow bump) depending on preferences, and a feeling of excitement fills me as I am so thankful and happy to have them there to experience the program!” – Jaime Rinaldi, Deputy Divisional Director, Delegate Acquisition

“Thankful for this group of women! ❤️ I’ve never been at a company where women are supportive of other women. And I think we do a damn good job of supporting each other. I experience that every day here.” – Sandy Ko, Founder and Principal, CCWomen

“I am thankful for the community we have built at CMP and CCW Digital. From Seminar Series’ to in-person conferences, I get to meet new people, build connections and better understand the CX community. I learn something new every day, which is so important to me—being exposed to new perspectives and continually striving to develop my expertise, CCW Digital has helped me foster a commitment to continuous learning and development.” – Brooke Lynch, Deputy Director, Digital

“One thing I am very grateful for at CMP is being able to work alongside the most brilliant and hardworking women! As a woman, a positive and empowering work environment is crucial and being able to learn from and alongside the women at CMP has been such a privilege.” – Melinda Acuna, Marketing Manager

“I am incredibly grateful for the work friendships I've made since joining CMP. It's been amazing to grow these relationships personally and professionally, whether it be through team lunches, in-office work, or carrying out an event on-site together. I love the CMP team and am grateful to have them in my life!” – Brookelyn Sullivan, Research Analyst & Program Coordinator
